This makes you wonder, what draws you to the razors that you use more regularly than others? Is there a difference in shave or is it something else?

That being said, I used to save the heavy grinds for long growth days but nowadays I use whatever. Perfect example: yesterday I mowed down a week old beard with a small Boker extra hollow and got a great shave - you don't see many guys bragging about that around here
I have a modern Boker made of silver steel and it is extra hollow that I use for heavy cutting. In fact, I just mowed down a weeks stubble with it.
