Every day, Cold Water, 2-3 Pass.
When I was using a cart M3 I would have to re-shave in the PM if I had an early start to the day and had a evening event w/the SWMBO...
That does not happen when I shave w/str8.Support Movember!

I can shave every day, no problem. I actually have found the opposite, that short stubble is easy to mow down with little discomfort. I can cut a pass off with short stubble.
If your skin doesn't like it, maybe try a soap with alum in it like La Toja or Osma. Both leave a nice feeling but Osma can be hard to lather.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday I do 2 passes.
Friday I do one pass (casual day at work).

I wish I could wait a couple days!! Sometimes I wake up in the night and rub my face to see if there is stubble because I'm worried I won't have anything to shave! Every day for me because I just love shaving with my straights. No irritation. I looked at a picture from 2008 and I had little razor bumps all over my neck. Not since I started shaving with a straight though. Big difference even though I'm a daily shaver.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

I started using a str8 a couple months ago and for first time ever I look forward; everyday, to lathering up the scuttle and going to work. I made the switch to DE's from cartridges & electrics a few years ago and thought that was pretty amazing but the move to a straight pushed the shaving xperience to a new level which includes shaving daily instead of skipping days - Previously never thought daily would be possible to tolerate, much less enjoy.

Definitely don't do every day. Every other at the earliest. Normally I am every third day. So truly its somewhere in the 2 1/2 day range. That goes for DE or SR. Wanna see a bad case of razor burn let me shave one day apart with a aggressive DE. Yeah learned that one the hard way.
