Thanked: 3860, 2 years ago. Came back to wet shaving after 3-4 years of disposable razor use. Picked up that bad habit when the grocery store quit carrying Schick injector blades. I had a roommate back in the late 70's who wore a beard but shaved his neck with a straight. Wish I had picked it up back then.

First started about 1984, so I was 35. I lasted for a month or two and gave it up for the 'good news' ........ Gillette Good News that is. Continued to collect straights off and on until 2006 when I decided to sell the 20 or so I still had. Came back to it in 2007 @ 58 years old. Been at it ever since.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
