I highly doubt Mama Bear is going to tell us if she has bare skin, or a bear skin rug... (pun intended) nor any of the other ladies here... so you're probably out of luck getting information there... Personally, regardless of how much she might trust me, or consider allowing it I really doubt I'd take the risk of using a straight down there.

Thanked: 2Shaving the 'south park'
Yep, shave a camel toe or two, albeit with a bikini razor. For some reason, I didn't object!

Thanked: 0I have done the legs of my lady with a regular safety razor while she was in the bath. aswell as the bigger area of the more delicate place. No detail work there.
It is an amazing bonding experiance and is quite enjoyable for both of us.
It is somthing I am highly looking forward to trying with a straight. but it will be a LONG time from now. will need LOTS of practice. So dont be suprised if this topic sees a resurection a year from now.

A little off topic...I shaved my wife's armpits with a straight when we were first married, over 20 years ago. Also I had to shave myself below the belt before I went in for a vasectomy; but to be honest I never considered using one of my straights for that job.

Thanked: 0is there not enough danger in waxing????
I've always thought it a rule that sharp objects and genitals do not mix.
But in all seriousness, I would probably recommend using a 1/8. for that purpose. And yeah, i would cut off about 3/4's the blade. You'll need to get into interesting hand positions....er... to get the right angles and such.
I guess this begs the question of whether any guy has done this with a straight to himself.....
Interesting topic though. perhaps we'll see this as starting a esoteric sub-trend.

Quick intro: I'm here (on the forum) because my sweetie (long-distance) got himself a straight razor (I have no idea what kind yet) and wants me to eventually learn how to use it on him, so I'm hoping to soak up as much knowledge here as I can before I risk his neck. I'm here (in this thread) because I think it's high time a female voice be heard.
I shave my girly bits with a safety razor two or three times a week in the shower. I'm not afraid of shaving said bits with a straight razor, as long as the person wielding it (me first!) knows how to use it. I'll let y'all know if/when that happens. (It'll be at least three months, since that's the next time I visit my sweetie.)
With the safety razor, I do three passes on each side of the... well, you know: back to front, front to back, and center to side. I leave the mound alone, because, frankly, I like the way that triangle looks. I do the bikini line once against the grain (toward the pelvic bone) and once across the grain (toward the leg).
My advice: BE CAREFUL! I've cut myself a few times ("just one more shave with this dull blade," I think... silly me) and it stings like heck. I suggest doing the first pass from center to side because it seems like it'd be easiest to hold the razor in that position. If that doesn't give a close enough shave, try back to front next. Be gentle, stretch the skin (it stretches a LOT), and don't press too hard.
Y'all crack me up with your euphemisms, by the way.
