Thanked: 1212From the moment I choose a razor, till I put it, dried and oiled, back in its slot: 15 to 20 minutes.

Thanked: 1710-20, but that's counting the clearasil facial scrub before the shower, not counting the shower, and waiting for the 10 ounce water heater to heat the water up again for lather

my face is sensitive, so I only ever make one pass, occasionally I'll go over a section of cheek or just under my jaw line, but never a full second pass.
I don't know, I don't uber-lather, but have started a 20/40 canvas/leather strop routine, that takes longer. but my shave itself this morning was much faster. If I make my lather, then hot towel for a few seconds, then lather shave longer. but mornings like this where I grab the Headblade shave cream (excellent stuff guys, I think it'd be hard to find something better than this) I can lather it on my face with my hand.

Thanked: 41Darn, I don't have a clock in my shave room. I guess I'll vote 20 min. I might check for sure but I doubt it. I always shave till I'm done.

What's the rush? I shave in the evening so I can take my time. It takes me about 30 min, not including the shower. I voted 30-40 min. If I'm in a hurry, I just make 2 passes and take about 20 min.

I'm usually done around 15 min or so.

I agree. When I was working, I had to get ready for work and get out of the house in a hurry so I used a safety razor and got the beard off (badly) in about two minutes. Now that I'm retired, one of the best parts of the day is shaving with one of my twenty or so straights and I do the whole nine yards in 20-30 minutes or as long as I damn well feel like it. The shave is a hell of a lot better, too.

Thanked: 1262bah! it must have taken me 50 or so minutes today from the time i washed my face, stropped, shaved to cleanup. Was listening to NPR and doing my thing.
It only felt like i shaved for 10 minutes. I might have to go back to the DE during the work week

Apart from the showering, it takes me close to 15-20 minutes to lather, strop, a 2 pass have (xtg, atg), alum bar, aftershave, and post-shave strop.
If it's for a super special occasion, I'll do a three pass shave, and that will take me just over 20 minutes.
