I would add to that "things not to do BEFORE shaving" Everytime I work out very hard I get shaky afterward and then I am in front of the mirror with a bunch of guys standing around (who are already staring at me for using a SR), and I am knicking the hell out of my face, trying to hold my shaky hand straight. You'd think I'd stop, but I am convinced that someday I will master shakey hand shaving!

I do that quite often, I want to be able to add that to my special skills part of a resume. But I did try shaving without a mirror while talking, that didn't work out so well.

Running on a treadmill while shaving will not save you any time in the morning.

Never have a heated discussion while shaving. It's a lose lose situation for you.

I do give shaving demonstrations for those that are interested. I have found that I must concentrate on lifting the edge away from my face when, and before, I make a statement or just talk. Sounds too obvious, right.

No talking when the edge is on or near your face!

Here's another, I have a tendency to move my head instead of moving the razor in order to adjust where I'm shaving. It can be a near thing if I don't take the razor off my face well before moving my head! Move the razor, not your head!

Thankfully mine only does that when I'm carrying a pot of boiling water from the stove to the sink. One of these days one of us is going to wind up wearing boiling noodles.... it will probably be me.

I'm left handed with a medicine cabinet also to my left. One in awile I'll stand too close to it as I shave with the large mirror on the wall.My elbow tends to bump the Med Cabinet and I flinch. This happens about two or three times a year.
It always ends up in somesort of a nick or gash. It's Feburary and I'm still nick free. Thats not to say I don't cut myself from some other bad shaving habbits.
