Nice dreads! But seriously, it's great that he's experiencing straight shaving for the first time with his dad. I always wished my dad had taught me to shave.

Yeah, his dreads are his other hobby...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

I found the Revisors site tonight, though I think the referral to the site may have been a breach of my parole conditions.
There are many MANY nice razors there, aren't there? I really like this:

    6/8

And I think the scales for the Eric Anton Berg should be these:

    Ersatzteile

Aaron would disagree, as he's 'anti plastic'...

I taught both of my boys to shave when they were of age, with the plastic things. You're right, there wasn't much to have to teach. Wish I'd been into straights then. Congratulatioins, Carl.

It's always good to see fathers handing down this art to their sons. Someday I will do the same. I learned how to shave on my own, with a cartridge, a DE, and a straight.

Joel (13) just asked what he was getting for his birthday. I replied a straight razor, and if he doesn't want it I'll look after it for him...
