Thanked: 630. DE shaving for over a year, 2 months with a Feather AC, first str8 just came in the mail. I got into it for all the reasons previously mentioned, and to also bring back the nostalgia of father teaching son + the heirloom aspect in the future. (Hopefully I am blessed with a son when I start having kids.)

Thanked: 44346, been messing with cutthroats about 10 years. The first 7 I labored in ignorance, honing my own off of a 1k/6k and not really enjoying the shaves. Didn't give up the disposables until about 3 or 4 years ago, when I learned about real razor honing and bought my first shave-ready razor. The rest is comfortable shaving history, punctuated by bouts of RAD and HAD and a whole lotta learning.

Harry Truman was president of the United States in the year I was born ..... to give you an idea.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
