Absolutely. Personally, I do shave at night mostly out of necessity, but I also truly enjoy the relaxing "nightcap" aspect of it too. But on weekends a morning shave is a nice way to start the day off - albeit after some coffee and breakfast

I've always heard that your beard grows fastest during the first 30 minutes you are awake. So, if you can get up and do something else for 30 minutes and then shave, you might have the longest lasting shave yet.

Having said that, I've been learning to hone and once I've done a fresh honing job I can't wait until the morning to do a shave-test. So I test the easiest part of my face to shave...my sideburns. And I do it dry. Next day my skin is slick, slick, slick. Makes me wonder if you all might be on to something. A nice evening shave...hmmmmmmmm.
