Thanked: 3I only go one pass through. I'll sometimes get irritation if I do more than that.

Thanked: 11I usually do 2 passes, WTG and XTG. Occasionally I do the ATG. One pass just doesn't feel right to me, if I wanted that I'd use a disposable.

Thanked: 154I usually do one pass, sometimes adding a touch-up to areas like my chin or jaw line.I do use a disposable some days, and use thesame shaving pattern as with the straight. After all, a sharp blade is a sharp blade.

Heretic! Next you will be proclaiming that earth is roundish! We all know it to be banana shaped!
once in a blue moon i will do a WTG in the morning, mainly when i know i will be shaving again in the evening. but since it takes less than 10 minutes for a 3 pass shave claiming the need to save time with just a one pass is silly. i could get away with a one pass but i enjoy shaving and would be wasting a ton of lather if i did not do the other 3 passes... or i would have to start lathering and shaving the dogLast edited by syslight; 05-03-2012 at 02:10 PM.

I do a one pass when time is short, but not short enough to use a DE. I get a good shave, but it won't pass the BBT and the warden complains at times.

Thanked: 146LOL, Jeff you'd miss the warden if she paroled you! I have to go with syslight on this one though. I can't get by with a one pass. I do 3 every day and get up early enough so I can enjoy it! The dog already has alopecia so he doesn't need me to help him...

Thanked: 2I do one pass on the left and right sides of my neck, closest to my trachea. For some reason, my skin is really sensitive in that area and more than one pass tends to result in rash. It's bad enough that if I go too long without shaving, it gets maddeningly itchy.
Everywhere else is fine though, it's weird.

Thanked: 15It all depends on things such as time, irritation, how sharp the blade is and face preparation. IN MY CASE, if the blade is sharp as hell like a bismark 6/8 in just one pass it take everything off. If I have some irritation I use either a DE or a TI Straiaght 1/2 grid. If I do a great face preparation with very hot water and Proraso with just one pass everything is done. As everybody knows if the time is an issue then with just one pass good or bad right or wrong = it is what it is.
Thanks
K
