If you are simply going for appearance, there is nothing in the world wrong with a one pass shave in my opinion.

As I’ve posted many times, I have some handshaking and it lessens in the afternoon and evening. So I need to do a two pass shave to meet standards at work and the two pass will last at least 24 hours!

I've tried a one pass ATG shave, and it worked pretty well. I just didn't enjoy it.
