Oh man, that sounds awesome! Just the experience of going would be fantastic. I'll bring cash and once its gone, that's it. Only way I can control myself! Thanks for the info!

    I have a 200mm x 40mm x 19mm vintage Coticule on the way from Jarrod @ The Superior Shave.

It is an old no backing stone with what I assume is a coffin box & comes with slurry stone. The coticule layer is 19mm thick. It should make a good workhorse.

Managed to snag CF lavender shave cream for $31.20 CAD/$25.24 USD. Could not resist at that price and it helped cover a few more sops/creams on the same order. Just had to get the LEA Classic shave cream and LEA shave soap refill puck. Love the LEA shave stick so have high hopes for these. Just love the retro packaging too. The last on order is the Musgo Real Classic Scent shaving soap puck. Heard this was not so good so just had to find out for myself.

Just got off the phone with SRD. I ordered a 5/8 Ralf Aust and I upgraded the strop for the kit to a 3" red Latigo hanging strop. Now I have to be patient for the USPS to deliver and then be patient with learning to strop. I may be reaching out soon to mentors in the KC metro area begging for help so I don't screw things up. Patience is not always my strong suit. This might teach me more skills than just shaving...

It will get there pretty fast. You can practice with a butter knife so that you don't cut your new strop!
