In the mail : an old razor that looked in reasonably nice shape from the Worcester Raor Co. in Worcester, Ma. Had to get it because that's where I was born and raised. Might be my first attempt at resto. or one to use for honing practice. Then again it could be a good shaver as is and go into the rotation.

I think I saw that razor sell. I was watching it. Sometimes I just watch auctions to see what they go for. Was that the one that went for $26?

oK -- in my quest to drive the household bankrupt while finding "the perfect shave" I got today a Naniwa 1k and a stone holder and tomorrow a new razor is due to arrive, a Robert Williams Custom Straight Razor 7/8 from the Classic Edge!

I got the Fredrick Reynolds today and was very surprised at the actual size and condition. it was a 6/8 instead of 5/8 and the condition was not to bad. I used the sand paper and cleaned for a while then oiled and put away for a while. I also have a medium grind Joseph Allen and a medium wostenholm. one should be here Thursday or Friday and the other maybe Tuesday. I know the wostenholm has a broken scale but hope that there like the Fred Reynolds and be in better shape than the photos. At any rate they'll give me something to do while i'm waiting on warmer weather and fishing.
