I know there will be some work finishing the Dorko, but that's what the fall is for.
The Henk,, well it'll be a handy trimmer at around 4/8th when all is said and done.
    Cheers.

Mike, I got one of those Dorko unfinished blanks as well a long time ago & I started to put a bevel on it using a 220 grit stone but stopped when the bevel started getting wide & it has sat since but I will fix the bevel & finish it one of these days. I will more than likely use greaseless compounds on it since the finish is sort of rough & go from there. I also found a set of black Dorko scales for it right after that. It will be a project for sure.

I have my first ERN on the way! Don't know too much about them, but I always like to try out new makers and I read lots of good things about these.

I enjoy brushes as many do here, and kept looking for the Holy Grail of Brushes - and I thought I wanted stiff backbone, scritchy on the face until I just went outside what I thought and went for a Plisson High Mountain White #10 shaving brush.

It is simply the nicest brush I have, it is soft and silky on the face, lathers creams or hard soaps easily, and performs perfectly - if I had only one to use, it would be the Plisson.

Which Plisson did you go for?

I have been buying too many razors lately, though that is par for the course with people suffering from RAD...
I still haven't received my ERN and I also picked up a red imp 132 to go along with it!

I had a Spartacus TI . I bought it from these guys in Tenn. and when it came in was very happy until I open the box and saw how these good Christians cheated me. They advertised the razor on E-bay with one set of scales they called it blond, and delivered a plastic ugly orange set. What a rip off. Let the buyer beware always!!
