I bought this set
because of its price, I figured if they where crap I wouldn't feel burned but they do what I assume they are supposed to well and there being three there's always one handy. My eyesight has been a problem lately and I broke down and got this
way better than reading glasses, they flip up for normal viewing. I'm wondering if it would be too weird sporting them about in public. Maybe if I had an X-man uniform?

Thanked: 154
Just received this.
I had a previous expérience with a modern made wedge, I have great hopes for this pair.
These are promotionnal razors made for a french steel factory, one can hope they've been made from the factory's own steel.
The scales would hint for german make, if I'm not mistaken.
I've devised a honing challenge with a friend of mine. Since they are identical and seemingly NOS, we will be able to match our skills, one blade eachBeautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.

Just got a loupe (actually 3), and now have an SRD modular strop and as of last night 2 DR Harris shaving cream tubes on the way to try...one Marlborough and one Windsor. I'm running out of my Arlington and wanted to try the other two scents.
