Thanked: 22I have an Antique J. Wostenholm & Sons Straight Razor Bone Scales Inlaid Plate 1813-76, on the way. She's a smiling wedge that I picked up from ebay for a song, lol. Really excited, this'll be my oldest razor thus far and though I'd have liked a 13/16 or so, I can't wait! I'll be calling on Glen for a honing job. She's rough but gonna keep it stock, love the original scales with the inlay, knowing it came from days of old....

Thanked: 25Yeah, I waited until the last few seconds to put in a higher bid. If I didn't get that one, the same seller has a smiling near wedge I was going to go after! Gotta have backups!

Thanked: 25I kinda was wondering if was someone from here or Badger and Blade that I was bidding against! LOL. I put in a stupid high max bid, too. Glad it didn't go any higher on the near wedge!! Fingers crossed that it arrives today; shipped ships within 48 business hrs after auction ends UPS ground, I am in the next state over, so UPS gets to me the day after it was shipped!

You're very lucky I had a few too many inebriated buying sessions the week before otherwise I would have gone twice that. A good non-smiling wedge is very much needed in my collection.
Last time I got something off Cedric it took over a month to get here. As the days passed by I began sobbing like a little girl thinking the package had been eaten by the post. Fortunately they arrived, and as expected, were worth the wait. And that coti edge gave me such a warm fuzzy feeling.
Speaking of which, my own new vintage coticle arrived and isn't too bad at all.

Thanked: 25So both Gilligan and Frankenstein were both bidding on that one as well?? LOL! Like I said, I got it to try out a near wedge, if I don't like it, it will most likely go in the Classifieds here!

Well, if I knew particular people were interested, I'd probably go the pm route, lol! But in the meantime, I've also got this to keep me busy. My first NEW razor. And opening it up was really something. Plastic, new smell, instructions, allan key, even a little candy gift from Veronica!

Thanked: 25Cedric does an awesome job on the razors! Blades are cleanly redone, tangs are bright and shiny, etc. Edge bevels are tiny and not much hone wear. Really clean looking!! I didn't get to get pics or try them out last night (went to shoot 3D archery!), so I will try to get some pics when I get home from work this afternoon.
