Looking forward to the pics, guys. Especially of that wedge!

Here's some more from me. I've waited a long, long time to get one of these. Oddly, I never tried one in the seven years I lived there, it was always DEs or Sheffields. But I knew that one day, after I had left, I would get one.

I tried it out yesterday with mixed results. It shaved, but not overly well. I'm not sure if the paper guard dulled the edge, it wasn't honed overly well, or if the steel isn't able to take a good edge. So I'll do a bit of honing this weekend and try it again.

Incidentally, that horrific label comes off with warm water.
I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

I have a HGH stone from Rezdog (Shaun) somewhere in the mail. Already picked out the first blade to be finished using this rock.

I have the same one and while I'm still struggling to hone well, it was much improved after I went at it. I've given up shaving with it though, the square point and heal cut me every time I used it. Even after muting them, I can still feel them scratching at me. My face has too many concave surfaces for such a short pointed blade. I like the label though.

    Beautiful blades Taz!
Arrived in the mail yesterday was Semogue Owners Club (cherry). Used it this morning, loving it.
Very attractive handle. Might be my last brush purchase for awhile...maybe, kinda sorta, probably knot.

Great pics. That wedge is fantastic. But are they scratches or just the light?

Well that's interesting. I thought mine might be much the same but as I said, I've always wanted to try one and now seemed a good time. I haven't heard much about them other than they're an entry level into J-razors.
I gave it 5 minutes or so on a nani 3/8 with varying ratio, and a brisk stropping and today it gave a really nice shave. Later on I'll finish it on a coti and try again tomorrow. I'm really happy with it.

The blades have a satin finish to them and still had some oil on them when I took the pics.

Just got another Connecticut razor on Ebay, much cheaper than the first ones! Seller is in CT as well, I wanted to keep this one in the state!
