Just ordered a bunch of stuff from SRD to get started! DVD, SRD soap in lavendar, Proraso in the new formula (green), Mitchell's Wool fat, Omega 49 brush, stand, alum, styptic, aftershave, etc! Can't wait to try these out!! Now I am hunting for some razors to try. I have an old Gottlieb Hammesfahr that was my great uncle's that I honed a chip out of and have been trying to get it shave ready to use in the meantime!

    1. Joseph Allen & Sons raozor: It's actually not in the mail, I got it yesterday, but was in the mail :] It's probably going to be my first restoration project, and it was chosen as my first because it doesn't need much work and I think will be a good practice project.
    2. Tailor's Eye Witness razor: didn't get it yet, waiting....
    3. Oerloso Solingen razor: Because I wanted to know how Solingen razor feels like...

    4. King 1K stone: as my first hone. Right now higher grits will come as lapping film/sand paper. These high-grit stones are extremely expensive...
    5. S\C sandpaper: Of 120-2000 grit, for ,my restoration project.

    That's it for now...

Quick question, though: why is the shipping rate for SR is so high with international shipping? most eBay vendors charge at least 25$ for shipping (from whom I don't buy, of course...)
tell me about it, got a new flute recently. £799.

Walter, can you post a pic of the linen when it arrives? I've got the cotton but am thinking of getting linen too. I'm sure you'll be really happy with it.
I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

Glad to hear someone here got it. Let us know how it goes. I was bidding on the Roberts too but have just bought too many things recently. And they've all just arrived today! I'm so excited. Should I post some pics here?

I wanted the ERN Crown and Sword, too, and would have had it, but my computer was too slow on my final bid But they were my first Ebay auctions The Roberts went higher, but after loosing the ERN, I wanted that blade! The Landers Frary and Clark I got for only $56.50 so that kinda balances out the Roberts.
