I decided to extend my Boker section of my blade collection. These are on their way.

These 2 came in the same lot and are both from Logan Gregg Hardware

This is my first Red Injun, and the first one I've seen in a spike point. Original scales, box, and never been honed.

Had a little piece of travel set.

The razors were not originaly from this set, and sadly the huge case is lost forever, but I'm particulary fond of the pocket knife, from the 1815 era.

Oh, very nice! I can't say I've seen too many with the spike point, how about you? When I saw it, I was drawn to that especially.

The problem with getting old - I forgot about these until they just showed up at the door! My shop is now a Norton Free Zone™. They say that the mind is the second thing to go...

Truthfully, the only Red-Injun I ever payed attention to was the one I bought. I saw a copy of an old catalog (1909?) somewhere that lists them as No. 100 - 4/8 square point; No. 101 - 5/8 square point; and No. 101 Rd. Pt. - 5/8 round point. I was drawn to mine because I wanted a Boker in my (meager) collection and the name Red-Injun was just too deliciously politically incorrect. Mine was pretty rough when I got it and with a pretty good frown. I could not get an edge on it so I sent it to Lynn for honing. It is now in my regular rotation.

A 200g jar of Martin de Candre Fougere and 15 bars of Atkinson's Country Musk bath soap, both for Spring/Summer.

Yes, the 100 is a 4/8, 101 is 5/8, and the 102 is a 6/8. An old catalog I've seen says they come in round point and I'm assuming the other style that is not labelled is square point.

But it does not list spike points or the odd duck Injun, the 301. Very curious.
