Being a fan of older badger brushes, I got this one in the mail yesterday & it is the largest vintage badger brush I have so far. I measured it with my digital calipers & it seems to have a 28mm knot & the loft is 57.6mm
Here are some others I have with the above one included.
The two on stands I got from a guy who was selling on eBay & I bought one of the others w/o a stand from him & sent him a message after that on how to contact me. He found me on Facebook & that is how I got the ones with the stands. They are very nice & I like ones with the clear handles but when he showed me a pic of the yellow or butterscotch looking one, I went for it too & I'm so glad I did. It is, as I mentioned the largest vintage badger brush I have ever gotten!

Mike my friend, yes that is his work and I'm blessed to be able to not only call him a very good friend here at SRP but in our personal lives.
As far as the fit and finish perspective; I would term his work ethic as one fussy, particular SOB!
However at this point in time I don't believe that he's currently turning any handles.

First I will fix that heel. Had a decent edge when it arrived . Start with 2 layer of tape and go to set even bevels. Geometry issue yes spine doesnt match bevel at all.
Flat spine on backside and no bevel at the heel WTFriend. Snow storm hit today, so it a great day to start working on it.Your only as good as your last hone job.

I'm not much for 'details' about many things. So I didn't 'record' either on paper/computer or somewhere in the grey matter the details of the size.
I'd have to ask the maker and since it's been awhile since it was made for me so I doubt that he'd know.
I do know that I love it and I love the way that big bushy badger gets the job done! Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.
