Thread: What Do You Have In The Mail Right Now?

Just got a shipment in from Masecraft. I hate their $50 minimum order thingy, but I suppose it worked out ok. I got some really cool stuff. A rod of Imitation Tortoise shell, A rod of Imitation amber bakelite, and a sheet of..... lets see if I can get this right..... Imitation, horn imitating tortoise. I can see one of my Frederick Reynolds in some of this stuff.

Yeah Andrew I hate their minimum order thing too but the last time I made an order, I was not happy with one of the items so they took it back giving me a partial refund so I got one on 'em so by the time I got refunded, my original order was under $50. Next time if I make an order I'll make sure what I get is good. They do have some good stuff. My previous order to that one was good, some honey ox horn scale blanks I that turned out beautiful. I still have some left. The minimum order thing is just a marketing ploy so they can sell more but they did me right on the refund.

All I needed was the tortoise rod, but the other 2 pieces I got I will use and both are very cool materials. It just sucks cause the shipping was very expensive to ship to Canada, and our dollar is terrible still. Oh well, like I said, still really cool stuff I got.

I got 3 pieces of wood for scales. I love the look of wood but haven't tried synthetics like micarta or g10 etc. But got all pieces are 1/16"x5"x24". One purpleheart, one black walnut, and one rosewood.

Well I bought it after seeing the beautiful brush you made, I had been looking for a good imitation Tortoise rod. This stuff is perfect. I'm really looking forward to making stuff with all three.

I need to go through the Butchered blade thread again and check out what you did with your Tortoise scales you did. From the quick peek I had, it look like you did some really cool sh|±

Oh no only Razor Soap. MdC called them limited edition. I believe it may have been birthday boy celebration operator error. Surely Ice Cream must smell like vanilla. So what does domino smell like??
Once Phrank raised the question I went back to their site, I clearly says "scented". My gut says MdC put their main scent in decorative containers.
