Well the extremely slow mail service has definitely slowed down my RAD, which is a good thing I suppose.
I am still waiting for a razor that I purchased in early March.

So after much anticipation, one of my parcels arrived today.
I had scored a pretty sweet looking 6/8 Otto Deutsch, and the seller sent me the wrong razor.
Someone in Richmond, BC will likely be receiving mine and will probably be quite pleased should the seller let him keep it.

Thanked: 4826Sorry Al, I cannot give you a like for that post, because from my point of view it is a minot tragedy. I hope in the end that you get it straightened out.

It’s beyond a minor tragedy, it’s a pathetic thing to complain about. I blame my childish boredom and cabin fever.

For an Otto Deutsch I think you'd be justified throwing a tantrum. I wouldn't blame you.

Thanked: 4206Not in the mail, but now in the garage.
Couldn’t say no to a free, virtually unused Old craftsman radial arm rig with readout.
Will have to live in the garage as the footprint is to big for the wood shop.
Unless I use it to build a new shop maybe. .:hmmm
Note the red cap on the right side, it’s an output shaft for Dremel type add on’s or the like I believe.
Need to google this rig."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Thanked: 4206Downloaded the manual from the sears site. Love their forever support..
Thing could replace my tablesaw actually, so could maybe squeeze into the current basement shop. Not sure yet.
Does mitre, bevel, compound cuts, and rotates 90’ for ripping, then flips sideways even for channeling.
The misses just rolls her eyes..

They'll never get it. When my son was about 10-12 I saw some tree surgeon guys cutting down a big hickory tree. I asked the.guy there if he could cut me a nice branch for my son for a staff. I said "he's 10." or however old he was. The guy shook his head that he got it. Anyway my son was thrilled with it. He stripped the bark and let it cure. The wife and his sister and every other female didn't understand why you'd want a stick. All the guys got it. He got more compliments on his stick...he still has it...and the girls STILL don't get it...
