8x3x0.5 surgical black ark. Enjoyed my translucent but needed something wider.

    I don't have a HAD. Really don't.
I mean, I have, AFAIK a dozen stones, 2/3 of which I use for my razors.
Cretoise, 3 different coti (2 of which were part of a lot), Thuringe, Welsh trio.

To be perfectly clear, my progression does not need a new stone. One of the coti is about 2k (yes, you read it right, it sets a bevel in <20 strokes), then BBW of the Ardennes combo, Beige of the same one, Purple Lynn and DGS, that covers the whole range.

But then again, I have that friend who is an antiques seller that I painstakingly trained in identifying treasures, and boy has he been delivering this year (the 2 weekly and the recent Rodgers were found by him).
So, how could I not jump on this new occasion

I always thought that if I ever bought another hone it would be a La Lune

The strop is fair game though. You know where to find me.
Beautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.

Nice score. I’d buy those too even though I don’t need them either.
