Saw this had my Last name written on it, and before I knew it I had put the minimum bid in. Well, it went through and I won. Always wanted an Ator.

That's a nice Ator, Andrew! Looks to be painted-on?

Looks like old Dunbar was an Englishman?? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moss_Side

Thanks for that info Tom. I think it's cool to see some of the razors past history. That paint will be staying, it gives the razor more character IMO.

Whatcha think, 6/8? I'm thinking so. Didn't say in the add.

Definitely a 6/8. If the shipping was not so much, I may have bid.....But alas! I already have one!

So glad to see it was you who won it. Either way, a great deal.

It is hard to remove some of the history sometimes, eh? EH?

It's just so cool that he wrote his name on it, and location. Nicely done too I might add. I really like it on there.

Ya, shipping to me from BC I think was $17 Canadian, which is minimum for domestic tracked shipping. Win!

You never know when it might be helpful to get a razor home by including information. This information allowed the owners son to receive his father's razor 69 years after it had been found by an American on Iwo Jima during the second week of the battle.
