    My plan is it will Eric. Soft metals for sure.
    SS and other hard carbon might need activator and film.
    Seems I need to get laser wattages < 10 watts to actually mark steel with anything that will survive varsol wipe downs.
    That's why I'm adding a 'dremel' option of sorts. Can actually carve perhaps with tungsten tool bits..
    I see lots of experiments in soft wood scraps before I get too psyched about it.

    Thanks Dave. I do have a bit of a problem regarding tool acquisition according to my bride.
    But, I use everything I have scrounged/bought, built and modified over the years. Or I will one day. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

    Like to see some pics of those knots when you get them.
    I have 4 on order currently as well.
    4 2/banders all 25x62. Have a few handles to turn.
