I made this piece back about '79 or '80; I needed to make a 'frame pull' on a '67 VW Bug. It's still taking up room in my tool chest(s) but even though I don't have access to an autobody shop let alone a frame machine I 'MIGHT' need it 'Someday'

Took a chance on a lesser known razor maker (I think), the look of this one made me laugh, and fall in love instantly, therefore had to have it.

It was made by a custom bladesmith named Herrlac, K. Herr Razors, made from BÖHLER K460 (O1)61-62 HRC steel, a tribute to the Wade & Butcher, The Celebrated Hollow Ground Razor, For Barbers Use. Should be here early next week, just landed in Montreal.

This puppy comes in at 11/8, 35mm, the grind looks absolutely superb, and anyone who knows me here will understand why this was like a dog on a bone for me.....

It does look pretty sweet Andrew. Hope it turns out well once you receive it.

Love the face etch too. Wish more custom guys would try this more often.

Phrank I have a HERR razor and so far I love it. I looked at that one before I ordered mine and really considered it, but went with something less normal from him. I think you will be pleased

That's great to hear, I should have known a fine connoisseur of razors such as yourself would have one....

I sent him an offer and it was accepted, all around, great deal.

Seems there are a few extremely talented razor makers in that region, this one from Hungary, the RigaRazor from Latvia, this one again looks to possess some extraordinary skill in grinding.

Can you post a link to yours or post a pic?

Im not sure if this works? I have never shared a link on here because I don't know how it is in the Show and tell area 2nd page about all the way to the end, Title is HERR custom.
I have never been called a connoisseur of anything, lol but I will certainly take the compliment and hold my head a bit higher for the day
