The sleeves work well, but proper care is the key, drying them after your done and leaving open for a while does it. But the sleeves can't hurt, unless wet when put away. Tc

Thanked: 0My OPINEL SR that I received on Friday will be going back in the mail to someone who can hone and strop it. It was not shave ready as the eBay seller stated.
I started my first shave and by the time I got to my left cheek it was barely shaving. I switched back to my Dovo shavette and the difference was night and day. That is why I have concluded as a beginner that my OPINEL was not shave ready.
Hopefully I can find a honemaster in the NYC area.

Got these in the mail today. lol Forgot that I ordered them.
And this is enroute, for Mama. Since I started using a SR full time now, she though she needed to 'take over' my vintage Schick DE. So, I got her own DE. An Edwin Jagger Pearl effect Lilac DE. (Which she don't know, yet! 😉
Oh yeah, I had to get some more Clubman for me, too. 😎
