I just bit the bullet and ordered a 30mm 2 band shavemac knot. I hope the knot lives up to the hype!

Thank you to whoever out bid me on the paladin on ebay, I think I'll like this one better

    30mm - that's a big knot - did you go for the D01, D02 knot?

D02, I think. The more expensive one.

Excellent - that's the next knot I'm going for - Mike is having a look at an old custom brush of mine that needs a knot upgrade...and am hoping the D02 has even more wow factor than the D01, the D02. The D01 knot is simply spectacular IMO.

Definitely let us know what you think of it - thanks and great choice.

Will do. I only went with the 30mm because I love my 32mm M&F so much.

That was a nice brush, I'm glad it found a good home. I also got a $25 30mm knot off ebay to test with before I commit with the shavemac.

I must have been half asleep last night because I just now noticed the irony of my comment. Did you really win that paladin?? How weird if it was you lol

I got a razor from the classified section coming. I am trying to find a storage box to store razors between use. I heard of a silicone sleeve that protects between uses and is good for storage in humid places like a bathroom
