D.R. Harris Arlington soap in wooden bowl - I really, really urgently need another wooden bowl soap.....
Love the D.R. Harris Arlington shaving soap. Love the shave I get with it, and the smell. When my wife commented how much she liked the smell, I ordered all the stuff I could find in the Arlington scent.

Looks like a great stand. I think it will be perfect , and Ill add a few custom touches for storage and what not. Hahaa ,man if you were close we could whip them out pretty fast, Looks like a simple build. Im having to suffer this build without a table saw (storage also) so it'll be slow going with a circular saw, and band saw. Not too bad, but Im missing the table saw for anything that comes in 4x8 sheets.

I read the reviews on Amazon, could be old not sure. Pretty much Jet,Delta, and Rikon all had reviews saying the customer service was weak. I love jet tools and was thinking about upgrading to the VS jet lathe, was on the fence about the variable speed if it was worth the extra cash. The reviews on the VS issues could be old but that swayed my decision since I knew the Rikon lathe already, I figured Id play it safe and add some tooling to the set up with the savings.

Good point. You can get a few top of the line gouges for the price difference. I'm trying to keep my eyes peeled for a used one. Lots of people buy all the nice stuff then decide it's not for them.

Hehehe...sure thing, but it may be awhile. I think I finally figured it out.
When I order something...order something for the wife!
I got my new (vintage) soap bowl and brush in...so I offloaded my badger brush to the wife.
    Crisis averted.
Here it is loaded with my remelted puck of Henry Cavendish - Himalaya.
First boar hair brush...I like it...smells like cleaning solution though.
Soaking it in some Himalaya suds overnight to season it.
