I ordered a few samples of Black Ship Grooming's soaps from Maggard Razors yesterday. I've got a sample of Black Rose, Thomas Tew and La Concorde on the way to add a little variety to my current rotation of soaps. Hopefully at least one of these will inspire me to drop a few bucks on a full puck.

Aloha!
I ordered this $10.00 DE and Blades from Amazon for emergencies. Put it in my emergency overnight kit in my car for when I'm UNEXPECTEDLY out of town. It's by Utopia Care (yes, Chinese manufacture of course). I have to say for 10 bucks, this is not a bad razor for emergencies when nothing else is available. A rather aggressive blade reveal, so I would not dare use a Feather blade, but the Derby blades that come with it or my beloved Voskhod would work well. It's cheaper pot type metal, but we're talking an emergency razor here and it's a damn sight better than a disposable.
Got it last week, put it in my car emergency overnight kit and pulled an unexpected overnight just a few days ago. Was able to get a reasonably good (socially acceptable shave) with it. Not for a beginner (because of cheap manufacture and aggressive blade reveal) but for an emergency razor, for just under 10 bucks? It's great.

OUTSTANDING PURCHASE MY GOOD MAN!
I'm a true audiophile and Jazz Aficionado. I own some very high end audio including McIntosh. This little table radio (stereo) is a winner on so many levels. Henry Kloss knew what he was doing when he designed this radio. On many levels it outperforms the Bose Wave Radio, and it's usually very dependable. Some of them have had faulty AC Transformers that are easy (and cheap) to replace, but if that happens and you don't want to open the unit to replace it, you notice a 12 volt input on the back of the unit, so just buy a cheap 110 to 12 volt 1 amp adapter from Amazon for 20 bucks and call it a day. But Kloss was aware of this issue and beefed up the transformers so most of them shipped with the new transformers and there is no issue.
Otherwise, this unit ROCKS big time. Best Shave Cave stereo you could buy IMO. And it stands up to steam and humidity well.
Congrats! Enjoy!
