One on the way, F.D. Bastel - S Hage. Can't find anything about it at all. Anyone seen or heard of them?

Coming in today a special custom order fro Michael Waterhouse a 7/8 square point just a tad under a half hollow 7/8 with double jimping flecked buffalo horn scales and a Giraffe bone wedge, I'll hopefully put up a few photo's later today, I haven't shaved since Sunday going to give the razor a run out later.

Default DE backup -- goodbye Fusion cartridges forever!

I've been enjoying the straight razors for five months now, and they will continue to be the daily shave. I need something for when I am in a hurry and I need something for travel.

So in the mail: a Merkur 33C and a big sampler pack of blades. I ordered up a Rooney brush (faux ebony) just because and a new stand (stainless steel) for brush and DE. I'm not ready for travel just yet. I'll probably order a travel brush, a travel soap stick, and a case next. For right now I have what I need to work on DE shaving.

I didn't want this gear until I was feeling really good with the straight razors. Now at well over 100 straight razor shaves, the str8 is a good habit, and the straight shaves started being wonderful around 50 shaves into the game. Time for some more kit...

Anyone have a travel case, travel brush, and travel soap solution you really like?

    Best,

    Ed

Hey Ed, there is a thread all about it in miscellaneous shaving equipment I think
Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

I have a vintage 9/16 Peaso No. 25 Straight Razor, a vintage and a Semogue 1305. I might get another razor, but I can't decide. It is another vintage 4" glass Ed Pinaud bottle. I might also get a vintage F. W. Engles Leader straight as well, but I cannot decide.

Plus to top it all off I just order some Swarovski EL 10x42 binos for my upcoming hunt. I maybe looking for a new place to live when my wife sees my credit card statement for the month.
