Roy...
Great idea...
The wife just read your post about the watch.
She said to put it in a box and present it to you daughter for a look/ see on a special occasion ...

It never ceases to amaze me how this forum about straight razors contains members who have knowledge of so many other things and who are so willing to help out others in those areas.
My Thanks!
Thanks Shaun,
I have wanted to get it back in service for many years. I should post some more pics to show where the silver has been worn off from years in my pants pocket.
Now about a protective pouch--damn if I can find that leather! Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

I too have an old pocket watch ive kept cor many years, Roy. Also my grandfather was a Cadilac mechanic. Worked for the dealer for decades. I have the watch the dealer gave him that they had made special with the Cadalac emblem in it. I hope to get it working again someday as it stops every minute now.
Watches and clocks are so cool. But razors are cooler! It's just Sharpening, right?
