I figure, $24 or so per blade and some steel to practice on wasn't too bad. Diamond in the rough that top one is for sure, I hope. Didnt intend to bid that high, it jumped up in the last ten seconds. And I was not in the mood to lose another bid, hehe.
I won't tell you what Iover paid on my first car. But I really wanted it too,,, ;-)

Didnt feel bad mouthed at all engine.... And if you do have some rebuilds lying around, unloved, that will never see your bench top, drop me a PM. I really enjoy the hand work in the winter, and am late to this straight razor party and looking to expand my collection.
I pay it forward wherever possible too for those who have mentored me along the way. Part of the pleasure in this awesome craft.
    Cheers.

Got a Muhle R41 head new, but without handle. Already put it on my new Maggard HD stainless handle and it shaves like a dream. A tad aggressive, but manageable and a super close shave.

A bunch of handle material came today. Some will be new to me and can't wait to turn some brushes from the Mokume gane.

The Mokume gane by M3 is going to be an interesting turn. It's the same idea as Recon stone, instead of stone they use metal. It has a Damascus look to it. Should be neat!
