I just had a great phone conversation with the DHL delivery guy worthy of sharing on this thread.
DHL dude: I am at your home, when may I deliver your package?
Me: I will be home late tomorrow night, maybe Wednesday morning?
DHL dude: Can I leave it here for you somewhere? I can hide it.
Me: Ok, go through the side gate and leave it behind the shrub, next to the ****? (blanked out to deter any naughty thoughts)
DHL dude: Sure no problem at all.
Me: By the way, there should already be another package left at the front door by UPS, would you mind grabbing that package and putting it there too....
DHL dude: Yep I see it, not a problem.
DHL dude, you are a LEGEND!!!Gerry
