Remember that Wonderedge that got to insane price levels on the bay a few weeks ago? I know the seller and the top 2 bidders tuned out to be bums. Since I was the 3rd highest it's mine for about half what the others bid it up to. It's on it's way west.
Also have another coticule coming in from the quarry in Ardennes - along with two wooden boxes, one for the new stone, one to fit an older one from there that I bought a few weeks ago. Does anyone else know that if you spend $200 on a coticule these days it does not come with a box?!?! Guess I needed to buy a bigger one...
And finally about $80 worth of threads and hackle for fly tying. Well... OK... a roll top desk will be delivered tomorrow that I'll use for fly tying and some amount of honing but that's not in the mail, it's a truck delivery. And... I guess I should mention Charlie Craven's latest fly tying book as well as the last 3 fishing books from John Gierach that I seem to have lost somehow (the guy lives a few miles from here but I don't seem to ever run into him when I'm in Lyons, so I bought the books online) ...and a new PEAK fly tying vice since my ancient no-name one doesn't want to hang onto hooks anymore, but that's being delivered to my fly fishing shop for me to pick up, so it doesn't count. Oh and there may be another razor inbound but I'll be darned if I can remember what it was - that guy that has my eBay login data may have been busy last weekend.
There are bids in on another 4 auctions for fly tying materials but there's another day to those auctions, so, they're not inbound - yet.
Since SWMBO is headed this way across the room I'll end by saying that's all...
