Beautiful - for some reason, every time I'd see one of those, I'd either forget to bid, or lose out at the last second, I've seen them with the bag, never with the strop wrapped up like that though, beautiful set though engine....have you shaved with one? I'm going to give it a try....

I was going to use the one that doesn't have the bag & the stropped not wrapped to shave with but haven't tried it yet! I got lucky finding one that had never been used yet that still had the strop wrapped with the paper! The used one is in perfect condition & looking at every blade very closely, one has a very tiny nick in it so I'm going to tape it & hone it.

I was looking at a couple of those, but decided on something else. That might have been one of them. Congrats Phrank!

I have a Kent BK4 brush, a ceramic bowl of Mitchell's Wool Fat shave soap, a Kent brush stand, and a bottle of Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve in the mail somewhere. Hoping it all arrives soon. Just received a bowl of Trumper violet shave creaam in the mail two days ago.

Why would you wanna hide away from that lovely outdoors?
Half the fun of ice-fishing is being out and enjoying nature is it not?

Watching the wildlife and just enjoy the few hours of light there are during that season is fantastic on a day like that in your picture
