State v. Durham, 323 N.W. 2d 243, 245 (Iowa 1982) (holding that a straight razor is per se a "dangerous weapon").

Thanked: 5A J. Rodgers & Sons smiling razor I found in the classifieds here. It *was* going to be my very first razor. However, my wonderful wife surprised me with an early birthday gift today and I opened up a F. Baurmann & Sons Quick Cutter! I don't know much about the blade, but I'm super excited that my wife is ON BOARD. First straight shave tomorrow afternoon! One step at a time...
She told me she was super worried I might not like it. I tend to be a bit analytical and, ahhh, particular about things that I get. She said she did a lot of research though and got what she thought would be good enough. Then she really blew me away. She said, "I also found out that you really need a different razor for every day of the week, so I figure you can research the rest of them." Woot!
I love my wife.
