Size: 21.1 KB I received my scruple works strop, on Thursday, it is a work of art. This is real craftsmanship and worth the 6 week wait.

Here's another one like it & I'm watching it to see what it goes for & I'd be willing to bet it goes for around the same amount I paid or maybe a little less but I'm one that goes for quality more than anything in worse shape. it might even go for more than what I paid:

    Watchmaker's Jeweler's Lathe Marshall 3 Way Cross Slide w Tool Post A10 | eBay

Oh when it gets here you can rest assured, I will take it apart & do as you said. When I get my Logan over here, I will do the same thing. If I remember right, it has a triple compound cross slide on it too. Tanks again pixel!

Thanks. It looks to be in almost unused condition or very well taken care of. If you look at the one in the link I sent, i bet it ges for around the same price & might even go for more than what I paid for this one. This same one sold a couple weeks ago for $535 but there was an address issue & the w=seller just said forget it & resisted it & it went for way less but I was expecting it to go for quite a bit but to my surprise, my snipe nailed it! I'm going to see what that other one goes for just for grins. It is identical to this one, it is a Marshall too but tight now it is still under $200 but it will get higher. I have been watching them for awhile & they don't go for little money. One did go for under $300 a couple weeks ago & it has a broken part on it which I could have made but it slipped through my fingers & I missed the end of the auction but things like that tend to be more of a problem. It might have had more issues than just a broken plw=ate that I could have made & frilled three holes in it, one for the screw shaft & the two that hold the plate on but like I said, it might have had more wrong with it. If it had a broken piece on it, it was to taken care of properly. I remember when I always used my Logan I have coming, I used to always wipe it down & oil it!
