Just received a vintage french travel case, mint state, I was expecting.

Probably manufactured by G. Keller (name on the manicure tools), it was sold with a J. Engström razor.

I was just looking for an appropriate case for my mop Kindal, and this one was perfectly fitted.

I changed a plastic knife for a mop one (all other tools were made from ivory), and added a steel mirror and a custom travel "strop" (made from a paperknife).

As I'm a travel accessories' addict, I'm quite happy.

Had the knot come loose on my Rooney Emilion 1, I have have the Emilion 2, both in Super Badger, so the Emilion 1 was returned to Fendrihan and they sent me a Simpsons Polo 8 Super Badger as a replacement, decided to take the opportunity to pick a different brush and they were fantastic about it!

Just got the delivery notice, so tonight's shave will be with a new brush and the Palmera....:-)

Just arrived the replacement leather for my SRD 2" Latigo strop. It was my second strop after I nicked up the first one. And after almost 5 years, just before I went to England, I nastily nicked that strop, so here's the replament, quicky installed and back in service.

Unfortunately, I have managed to catch the upper respiratory infection that seems to be sweeping the midwest USA and I can't smell a damned thing.

....in the mail today was a Wade & Butcher near wedge. Professionally restored by Karl. This is my 5th Sheffield razor I have bought from him and every one is just as stunning as the next. Have to buy 2 more to have a 7 day set of near wedge razors in my den. Will probably never by another new razor again.

Just ordered up some of that Penhaligons Bayolea.

I've been using the mustache wax for a while and decided to step it up to the cologne.

    Love the scent..
