Found it on eBay listed as "no number" aluminum brush, knew it had to have one, two rubs with some 2k sandpaper in the spot where the I figured the number should be, and presto....the one that I had actually been looking for - a Rubberset Aluminum Shave Brush #4....

    Argh, you dog...
    Congrats Andrew!
My eBay search is too specific I guess. Missed that one completely.
Rubber set and American watch company are my number one and two saved searches currently..
    Beautiful find chief..

And the one I rebuilt for you, that head should unscrew and fit the 4 as well I think..

So excited with what's coming my way!

A Lynn Abrams' modular strop, a Ralf Aust 6/8 and 4 sleeves.

After they get delivered to a friend's place in NJ, I'll still have to wait 20 days till my parents bring it home to Brazil.

Great! Just GREAT!! Yet Another SWMBO hating me!

Mike I've used the saw to cut an extension piece for the miter gauge out of 1" thick Black Walnut and it did fine. I took my time and didn't rush things. I say this as some guy posted a review that said the only thing it would cut was butter due to lack of power)

I will say that it comes with a 1/4" deep blade and I've ordered an 1/8" and a 3/8" to make it more versatile. However 3/8" is the deepest blade that will fit.

The extension was cut right at the blade so there should be plenty of support when cutting things like small wedges.
