Yesterday i waited, today it came, a Poljot Alarm from the USSR in the 70s, fully mechanical Watch similar to the Seiko Bell a Matic but a lot cheaper.
And the best is, it works

Beautiful - if I'm not mistaken, is that one of the watches that you can set an audible alarm on? Been reading about watches like that on another forum...mechanical wrist watches with an alarm, how cool.

    Great find and congratulations....

I hope I can work the couple of small dents out.

Quashed by the evil Nazis, another relatively obscure Solingen razor.
I have been digging the discovery of makers who disappeared prior to WWII lately.
Seems Goedeckey was primarily a safety razor maker. Around from 1900 til 1939.
    Should arrive to-day!

I liked the etching on this too much to pass it up. Looks to be in good shape, but I've got a couple that I still need to send out to get honed and probably restored, so I'll add this to the list.

I'm a fan of Goedecke, I inherited a couple of razors belonging to my great-grandfather and his father.

It had a logo on them and a stamp of the store and town nearby where we live, after years of digging I found out they were made by Goedecke, ergo it's special brand to me; and as we all could assume fantastic shavers
