Maybe. It's a razor with a comb/guard attachment. I've never seen one like that.

Great finds, fresh from the wilds - love to see you making out so well at your market.

It's called a 'Real'. Korn and Cattaraugus had their names on them. I think Korn made them all.

Default A nice day at the Antiques Fair

I arrived home today to find a package in the mail from @outback. Thank you for the blades Mike!

I cleaned up the Universal and one of the NOS blades and hit the hones.

While I was at it, I grabbed the Korn and some other recent acquisitions and made an afternoon of it. I am set for the week[emoji1]

Wow, the Air-Mail there -- that is one cool razor.

I thought it might be small for razors but I am thinking of shortening it and using it for many things on one or two benches.

Razors at least with scales don't fit.

I picked these up a couple of weeks ago but they were handy for display!

Default A nice day at the Antiques Fair

My wife had a business meeting 100 miles from the house today and I decided to drive her and go razor hunting. I saw a couple of ODH boxes in a display and asked to take a look. I found five nice razors in that case and gave them a lowball offer, which they accepted. I found the old pipe rack in the same shop. The W&B was from another shop. It was a good day[emoji3]

    This display looked promising.

Giesen and Forsthoff Adoration, F.W. Engels Special, S. R. Droescher Gold Bug
Salamander, Genco Wedge, Wade and Butcher “The Clean Shaver”
The bevel needs some work, but it’s in nice shape.
The pipe rack will hold 24 straights.
I’m going to pass on the Antiques Fair tomorrow. I think I have enough for the weekend[emoji12]

Very nice, especially the "two birds, one stone" approach to the hunting trip!

First: what does "ODH boxes" mean?.

Second: DID YOU SNATCH UP THAT ROLLS RAZOR?!?!? (Assuming it was in decent shape...)
