Thanked: 84Well, I wish you the best of luck, excuse me if I don't hold my breath though, the only one I've heard of anywhere near my John Holmes's size is owned by a gentleman member here named Gugi (I think), his weighs in at a fabulous 9 inches of joy!
I have actualy seen one BIGGER than mine
But, it has a plaque screwed to it in honour of some American soldiers who beat 'The Hun' out of Belgium a little while ago. So is therefore being put to a much more deserved cause than even ours.
Rob at Ardennes may be able to find you one though!!
I do hope your search is fruitful, but, I doubt it

Thanked: 84Cheers Poona, I think it is quite a hard stone(coticule side). I've rubbed it with my natural bout and it takes a little effort to get a slurry going, so it's more of a polisher I think.
My small selected coticule produces a slurry easierand feels a lot softer. I'll have to try different combinations of rubbing stones. One good thing though, It is so long it doesn't have to be that abrasive to remove metal !!
I wish I lived near a pro, I could get them to evaluate the stone and give us the low-down on it..

Thanked: 84Nice one.
Just got some bad news though, the ECU on my Bug may need replacing $2k+ to replace.
You win some you loose some I guess?
I'm going to to turn a junker razor into a toothpick on the hone, that'll get rid off some frustration slurry - here I come.

Thanked: 3795By Bug, do you mean Volkswagen?
I'm flagging myself...I'm not sure if that makes it any better or not. Would it help if I use the word "coticule" somewhere?
Coticule!
The newer ones have been around long enough that there should be lots of them in scrap yards. Maybe you can find a used one in a totaled car?

Thanked: 84Coticule.
It's a VW NewBeetle tdi pd.
The ECU needs to be coded to the car to work, it may not be the ECU....either
It's a TDi, there aren't that many about and I can't chance a spanner man making a balls of it!
I really don't have any choice.

Thanked: 84right my kitchen scales go to to 3kg, the hone went well over and showed as 'err'
So, I put my ganite pestle on it, it was 2650g.
I can only guess but, I'd say it about a third heavier. I'm going to say it's about 4kg.
I've got a plank and some weights in my garden, I'll set something up now....
