Other than stuff given to me, I would have to say it was a Meat Chopper I bought several years ago for 15$. I ought to sell the blasted thing.

Thanked: 2591A great condition 6/8 Imperial razor for 15 bucks on the flea Bay. A few spots on the blade that came off with Maas and that is it. Never honed as far as I cantell, the box is like new minus a few paint spots on it.

I bought a 6/8 Wade & Butcher 'the Celebrated Razor' near wedge last weekend for $20.
Of course it looked like one of those beat up middle-ages swords they drag out of the earth when I got it, but believe it or not I got all the rust off and it honed right up and shaved nicely.

A Dubl Duck Dwarf and Case Red Imp both for free as a very kind gesture from a barber in my hometown who still cuts hair part time at age 75.
Otherwise, this, my prized Choice coticule combo that I doubt I'd ever sell. It was $8.
I have a few other jaw dropping razor related deals, but I think I'll give others some space here as well. Plus, I may sell some of them at some point and wouldn't want to hear any squawkin about how I'd be asking twenty times what I paid for such things.

I got an 8/8 Wade & Butcher For Barber's Use wedge for $5. She came with some rust and pitting, but I got her cleaned up and shave ready with some help from JoeD and CarrieM. At that point she looked pretty good and was ready to rock, but I subsequently sent her out for restore and rescale (back into some nice black horn) by Brad (Undream).
Back before the old BST was closed down, a wonderfully generous member here PIFed me a Dubl Duck Satinedge which I later PIFed onwards. That same member also hooked me up with a bunch of DE's and SE's which I gave out at a hall program (I was an RA at university) at which I taught my floormates to shave. I speak, of course, of the one and only BlackStangAl aka Big Al.Last edited by holli4pirating; 11-05-2009 at 05:02 AM.

Two NOS Solingens for $30 (including shipping)- one of which was my daily shaver up until getting my Hess 42. And it still sees active service (I have a rotation, just my "daily shaver" gets used twice or more as much)

1 feather pro
2 feather
1 Japanese-style razor
4 European-style Japanese-made razors

The Berg that I bought for pocket change at the Swedish Ebay.

I scored a Wostenholm Frameback about a month or so ago for all of $4.50 shipped. It looked pretty rough in the pictures, but when I got it the only real pitting is on the frame, and I got all the black junk out of it so it looks great now. The etching on the blade is perfect too. It is currently out getting honed so no word on the shave yet, but even if I hate it it was worth the money since I got the hone job for free.
I also got a sweet Klaas for $14 that is also out being honed. The blade looked dirty when I got it, but there is no pitting at all, and almost no staining. It also has a very nice jimped thumb notch.
I'm looking forward to using both of them.
