Thread: My First Wosty

I've been at it again.
I got this one with warped scales and had an interesting time getting them straightened out.
I used a variant of the jig that has been posted here except I used a metal centre plate that I heated up with a heat gun.
As you can see the pivot hole was pretty well worn, so I filled it with Devcon and a 3/32" sleeve and it is good and tight now.
I cannot believe how well this one shaves - not a sound - the whiskers seemed to fall over in front of the blade.
Going by the scales I would think that this is an early 1900's razor, however, I cannot be sure.
Any comments or info would be appreciated.
