    I agree that we should be able to point out the obvious, and it can be done - just in the right way.
    If someone has put a lot of time and effort into making something for themselves, then why do I care if it is ugly as sin or weird looking. If the issue is of a practical nature or the item is going to be made for sale then that's a bit different.
