I gave up on photo hosting sites just to much to keep up on.

Yeah, that's always been a limitation of vbulletin that it can't include photos in PMs and the workaround is to include links from external hosting. That's what I've done too and it's rather silly in my opinion.

Thanked: 603Here's A Workaround
- Create a post. It can be in any forum, 'cuz you'll never post it.
- Add an image to the post.
- Preview the post. Click-R on the image and "Copy image address".
- Go to Private Messages and "Send new message".
- Type your text, and then insert the image (the only option will be URL, which is the image-address you copied from the phony post)
- Preview the PM. You should see the image!
- Submit/send the PM
- Make sure you do not send the phony post.

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Thanked: 2209Another way to do this is to ...
1. Upload a photo to your SRP Albums
2. Open one of the Albums
3. click on a specific pic
4. Right click on that pic, a drop down list will open
5. Click on "copy image address"
6. go to the PM your writing
7. click on the "Image" icon.
8. this will open up a box that starts with URL
9. Paste or CTRL V, that will put the "copy image address" into the URL box
10. Click "OK".
11. it is now in your PM!
The advantage of this is that the pic will always be in your post. You do not need an external image hosting website
that you may abandon later and the link would be lost.Last edited by randydance062449; 02-03-2022 at 07:29 PM.
