Here's A Workaround
Create a post. It can be in any forum, 'cuz you'll never post it.
Add an image to the post.
Preview the post. Click-R on the image and "Copy image address".
Go to Private Messages and "Send new message".
Type your text, and then insert the image (the only option will be URL, which is the image-address you copied from the phony post)
Preview the PM. You should see the image!
Submit/send the PM
Make sure you do not send the phony post.
