Thanked: 44You know what the scary thing was? I never went into the forum and saw it was down. I just kept trying to log in. And I couldn't get it to log. And so i started to fear I had been banned or something. I so I started to log in more quickly. And then I started to panic. and then I realized it was all a bad dream and the forum was down. And then I really started to panic. Nah I just went out drinking. I actually do have a life its just that I have a very flexible job.

I'm glad to see you guys are back up and running.
It's a shame you lost so many posts, and valuable info.

Thanked: 1212Before the Big Blackout, I went by the name of Bartmann on SRP. I joined in the first few days of November 2007. This feels like a piece of my life has just been erased. Every contribution I ever made here, every answer to questions I ever popped... All gone. I admitted that I had to swallow a few times before I re-registered again. Of course I realize fully that these things are generally no ones fault. So cheers to all the people, that must have been fairly busy the last 24 hours to get this thing up and running again.
I decided to lose my previous nickname. I wasn't all to happy about my former choice. Sounded too macho, on second thought. I decided to just go by my regular name: Bart.
Kind Regards,
Bart.

Thanked: 351Thanks for the hard work in getting the site back up.... I remember many a time back in the early days of running a BBS, testing beta software that I had to devote most of my sleep time to mopping up all the bits after the BBS barfed. They aren't fond memories!
Regards
Christian

It almost got to the point that I had to get a life.
Close shave...
On the plus side, the more volatile threads of the past months are gone tooTil shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Man, I lost about 500 on the post count and some real good conversations!
I was on my way to blabber mouth status!
Oh By the way, Welcome aboard Queen of Blades! I was glad to hear your eye surgery went well!!
