I think what needs to be clarified slightly here is that we are not talking splitting hairs here as to what is "shave ready" keep that in mind....

What we are talking here is "Gross Inadequacies" in what is being called shave ready....

It is not part of the Mod job description to determine who can hone and who can't however when we see a gross misrepresentation of a "Shave Ready" razor we are going to look into it....Keep in mind that luckily this is very, very, rare, and we want to keep it that way...

Just because a new guy says "I can't shave with this razor" does not make it inadequate as we have all seen.. But when there are glaring rough patches, and visible nicks left in the edge, guess what that is NOT shave ready and we are going to ask why....
